Welcome everybody. How you got here I have no idea but thank you for coming and welcome again, nonetheless . As you may have gathered this is a Fic Prompting Meme dedicated solely to the hilarious and oh-so-addictive BBC Radio 4 sitcom - Cabin Pressure. I'm aiming for this to be pretty anything goes - but in order for everything to run smoothly, there are a few guidelines. Don't worry - they're not too restrictive.

FILLING GUIDELINES

As you probably all know - our meme now has it's very own database created and maintained by the great Enigel. It both catalogues each and every prompt that we post and provides links to fills. You can find it here: Google Spreadsheet

We also have a Pinboard archive which has been put in place by the lovely oxfordtweed in the place of our late Delicious Archive. This Archive contains a list of all the prompts this meme has to offer - you can find it here: Pinboard Archive

This is a great step forward in making our meme just a little more organised (but not too organised of course. This is Cabin Pressure) which is always a good thing.

So in order to make things easier to archive - Please nest your fills.

This can be done by either posting each part as a reply to that part's immediate predecessor, OR by replying each time to Part I OR - well you get the idea :D

It makes it simpler for Enigel and myself to link fills in a clean and clear manner. Following these guildelines will be very much appreciated guys :D

REPROMPTING

Reprompting is allowed but please include the URL of the original prompt when you do so. It will make it infinitely more easy to Archive which would make both Enigel and I very happy :)

As for everything else

1. Be respectful to one another. Disagreements are fine, but not everything disagreeable is trolling. If you suspect someone of trolling, just ignore it. If you cannot respond to a comment without attacking or trolling someone else, keep it to yourself.


2. No bashing prompts. It might not be your cup of tea - but obviously someone wants it enough to go to the effort of requesting it. So just scroll past it.


3. Prompt away as much as you like guys - seriously, go wild - but please try to fill as well.

NEW - If your fill includes a major element that veers from the original prompt (crossovers, established universes, kinks, et cetera), please take a few moments to check with the OP that such additions are welcome. This has caused problems in the past and it only takes a few moments of your time.

4. Please no RPF. I'm not trying to oppress you RPF writers and enthusiasts, I would just really like to avoid any legal problems.


5. When you post a fill (or post a new part of a WIP) please go over to the Filled Prompts Post (if it is complete) or the WIP Post (if there are still more parts to come) and, following each post's guideline's, post a link to this fill or new part.

REALLY IMPORTANT ADDENDUM

According to numerous Child Safety laws it is illegal to provide pornographic material to minors. Seeing that the majority of the stuff we have here is rather adult in nature, this Meme is consequently an 18+ zone. Failing to comply to this rule could result in the Meme getting shut down. + Please do not post anything regarding minors in a sexual situation. It really doesn't matter how tasteful or crass it is, there are laws that classify that sort of thing as child pornography and as such, I'm afraid we're going to have to go with the attitude that safe is better than sorry.

It really is VERY important that these rules are upheld as the consequences are severe.

Then Martin seems to eat ALL THE FOOD, including Arthur's, uses all of the towels, even Snoopadoop's, barges in on Herc and Carolyn, and . . .

So Arthur goes to Martin for help and comfort.

Desperate Martin

He's stayed back late into the night finishing up paperwork that should have been filed weeks ago (was it even legal for it to be undone?) for tomorrow's flight, only to discover upon leaving that his van's broken down.

It's a long way to walk home, but he can manage it, until it starts to rain. He's walking along the highway, trying to hitch a ride from a stranger, to no avail. Until one stops, takes a look at him and tells him to get in.

The stranger offers him a deal; a ride home for a blowjob.

Desperate, shivering and hell with dignity, Martin agrees.

I've always wondered about Gordon's reference to Hailey in St. Petersburgh:

After the events at St. Petersburgh, Arthur decides to forgo getting Gordon a gift this Father's Day, after all he really didn't appreciate his last gift. Maybe Arthur's okay with it, maybe he is wrestling with the decision, but he's taking a stand.

Cue Hailey, who I'm presuming to be Arthur's Stepmother, coming round and giving him absolute hell on Gordon's behalf and the rest of the crew just going BAMF to protect their steward.

This prompt is in no way inspired by my stepmother phoning me at 1am to yell at me about my half sisters kids.

Father's Day AU

Today I saw a post on Tumblr, trying to be all snarky and witty about today, saying: "It is hard to believe that every single dad ever was born on this day."

It gave me the idea:

Every male who is to become a father is born on one specific day. (It's up to filler if the same holds for mothers.) Some males are not, and maybe there's a bit of a stigma to it - maybe something like "oh, you have three dogs, when was your birthday?" sort of thing, or maybe there's even laws stating that non-fathering males can't be with fathering-males/mothering-females - again, it's up to filler if there's a huge stigma or not. Basically, all I'd like is:

Martin was not born to be a father. But it's all he ever wanted in life. How does he get around this?

In a world where people get selected by a lottery to marry if they're not married/in a relationship by a certain age, Martin gets selected to marry someone.

It's upto the Author whether it's in a world where MJN exists or whether it's completely AU, whether it's Douglas, Arthur or an OMC who Martin has to marry, and whether Martin is happy about the arrangement or not and wants out some way.

As long as Martin ends up happy in the end.

(Deergod, I can't believe I'm even writing this down. Okay, deep breath. Here goes.)

Apparently when I get to sleep more than my ordinary 8 hours, I dream very vividly. Very vivid sex dreams that is. Cabin Pressure sex dreams.
The last three nights I've woken up and started to fight with my duvet, before realizing that no, I am not Martin, and I'm not getting raped.

It started in different ways, but it never seems to matter, because it winds with the same scene:
Martin/Me (in this series of dreams we have so far been the same) being tied down by a group of masked people. We're crying, screaming, sometimes even fighting. It never helps. The sound of zippers being pulled down and trousers stepped out of is mingled with aroused grunts, moans and whimpers. After that the shock takes us (me and Martin)up to see from a bird's perspective how the body of Martin gets his clothes ripped off and shredded/burnt before the half-naked people start entering him with fingers, dicks, dildos and strap-ons.At this point we fall down in despair, back to our respective bodies and I wake up fighting my sheets.

So far it has started in three different ways:

1. Martins landlord tells us the rent is due, but we have no money. The landlord smiles a wicked smirk and says that it's fine, but that he had been looking for someone to sub in a BDSM role-play event he's hosting and wouldn't we be delighted to join in?

2. We wake up naked on the floor of a cellar, concrete floor hurts our knees and our hands tied behind our back, our legs are tied together. Unopened beer cans and a very small box of condoms lie near us.
One of the groundsmen had asked us to check something electric, since we already knew a lot from Martin's father, and it would be expensive to call a firm (the groundsman very specifically doesn't say "a profesional" so we decide to help). But instead he had taken us into the abandoned 'Flap and Throttle' place and hit us over the head with a bottle, causing us to pass out.
We only just have time to remember all this before someone starts talking, it's Carl from ATC. "Today we celebrate the vary unofficial Shag Martin day, let's hope it's the first of many. Some of you might still eb unclear as to what we are doing here," he looks around and we see many faces, out of which only a few are familiar enough for us to remember their name, "so I'll tell you a little story. This is Martin," he points at us "an annoying little prick, proud and stiff as if he's got a stick up his ass. Today we intend to teach him a lesson and to have some fun with him. There are some rules, written down somewhere, but that's not too important, now is it Martin? The main thing is that we are going to shag this stuck-up pilot until he can't bother us no more. So let's start with the fun!"

3. Gordon decides that lowering the price he's willing to pay for Gertie is not enough, he also stats paying a low sum of money to Martin/me every time and then taking advantage of us. Basically, we become his prostitute. At first it's only only one time each year, but as we become more desperate for cash (van breaks down, prices go up, etc.) we start calling him requesting more encounters, Gordon tells us that when we call him, we need to make him believe it. For every time he fucks us, he becomes increasingly rough and kinky. In the end of a particularly painful shag, he gives us the lines for next time we call him. "...why don't you bring a friend?" it says.

4. We're driving home after a long day of work, in the beginning of a great forest we get four flat tires. Someone has put nails on the road. When we get out of the van, a big group of people runs out of the forest, attacks and takes us away to a small clearing where hooks hang from the trees.

Re-posting this after accidentally posting in wrong place.

While on an overnight trip Carolyn informs Douglas that he is going to have to share a room with Martin for some reason. Douglas is furious about this and spends the evening being sarcastic and condecending to the rest of MJN.

Martin's bad luck strikes again and he gets food poisoning from the cheap restaurant where Carolyn bought them all dinner. He is in the hotel bathroom being violently sick when he hears Douglas getting out of bed. He expects Douglas to complain about being woken up, or to make sarcastic comments. Martin is suprised when instead Douglas is kind and concerned.

Martin turns in his two week notice. When asked why, he said, "It's because I'm getting married." But he doesn't look too happy about it.

When Douglas asks for information, Martin reveals It's an arrange marriage, set up before he was even two months old. Now if he doesn't get married, he will be disowned by the whole family. "Is there any way to get out of it?" Douglas asks.

"Just one: I can be married off to someone else. But who is going to marry me, on such a short notice?"

Did she sell off some stuff to get the money to start the airline?
How did Douglas' interview with Carolyn go?

Prison AU
