Welcome everybody. How you got here I have no idea but thank you for coming and welcome again, nonetheless . As you may have gathered this is a Fic Prompting Meme dedicated solely to the hilarious and oh-so-addictive BBC Radio 4 sitcom - Cabin Pressure. I'm aiming for this to be pretty anything goes - but in order for everything to run smoothly, there are a few guidelines. Don't worry - they're not too restrictive.

FILLING GUIDELINES

As you probably all know - our meme now has it's very own database created and maintained by the great Enigel. It both catalogues each and every prompt that we post and provides links to fills. You can find it here: Google Spreadsheet

We also have a Pinboard archive which has been put in place by the lovely

oxfordtweed in the place of our late Delicious Archive. This Archive contains a list of all the prompts this meme has to offer - you can find it here: Pinboard Archive

This is a great step forward in making our meme just a little more organised (but not too organised of course. This is Cabin Pressure) which is always a good thing.

So in order to make things easier to archive - Please nest your fills.

This can be done by either posting each part as a reply to that part's immediate predecessor, OR by replying each time to Part I OR - well you get the idea :D

It makes it simpler for Enigel and myself to link fills in a clean and clear manner. Following these guildelines will be very much appreciated guys :D

REPROMPTING

Reprompting is allowed but please include the URL of the original prompt when you do so. It will make it infinitely more easy to Archive which would make both Enigel and I very happy :)

As for everything else

Be respectful to one another. Disagreements are fine, but not everything disagreeable is trolling. If you suspect someone of trolling, just ignore it. If you cannot respond to a comment without attacking or trolling someone else, keep it to yourself.

No bashing prompts. It might not be your cup of tea - but obviously someone wants it enough to go to the effort of requesting it. So just scroll past it.

Prompt away as much as you like guys - seriously, go wild - but please try to fill as well.

NEW - If your fill includes a major element that veers from the original prompt (crossovers, established universes, kinks, et cetera), please take a few moments to check with the OP that such additions are welcome. This has caused problems in the past and it only takes a few moments of your time.
Please no RPF. I'm not trying to oppress you RPF writers and enthusiasts, I would just really like to avoid any legal problems.

When you post a fill (or post a new part of a WIP) please go over to the Filled Prompts Post (if it is complete) or the WIP Post (if there are still more parts to come) and, following each post's guideline's, post a link to this fill or new part.

REALLY IMPORTANT ADDENDUM

According to numerous Child Safety laws it is illegal to provide pornographic material to minors. Seeing that the majority of the stuff we have here is rather adult in nature, this Meme is consequently an 18+ zone. Failing to comply to this rule could result in the Meme getting shut down. So if you're here and you're under 18 please back button now.

+ Please do not post anything regarding minors in a sexual situation. It really doesn't matter how tasteful or crass it is, there are laws that classify that sort of thing as child pornography and as such, I'm afraid we're going to have to go with the attitude that safe is better than sorry.

It really is VERY important that these rules are upheld as the consequences are severe.

I'm happy someone else was brave enough to prompt something I've wanted for a long time.

"We had an agreement, Mr. Richardson," the American said with a shrug as his fine Italian leather loafers stepped on the wrists tied behind his back. The two of them were in a room, small and beige-gray, with wallpaper peeling at the corners and a carpet worn thin from decades of shoes. There were no windows, but there was an ancient television screen, and it's presence was far more anxiety-inducing than the prim and pressed American. "If I got all of the walnuts, then you got all of those nice suitcases. If I didn't get my nuts, well..." The American kneeled down, his thighs straddling Douglas's torso. "I was going to take all of your kneecaps."

"I don't think two human kneecaps are of equal worth to nearly twenty pounds of high-grade Colombian cocaine."

The American smirked and stood back up. "You'd be surprised how valuable kneecaps are in New York." The American walked around, heels snapping together as he stood in front of Douglas's upturned face. "No, not nearly as valuable as all that lovely cocaine you turned over to the TSA, but it's the personal value that matters." The American took a few steps forward, turned on the small, old television that was sitting on a stand just a few steps away. The screen was gray with static. "Not everything has the cold value of money. Your kneecaps have a lot of personal value, even though you play it down." The American pulled out a manilla envelope from behind the television. He opened it. "You are right, though. There is a give and take with emotional value and monetary value. And since you took away something of such immense monetary value..." The American turned around and smiled pleasantly. "I think I'll take away something of great personal value."

Douglas didn't say anything. Instead, he watched. He watched as the the American opened the envelope and took out four eight-by-eleven-inch photographs. He watched as the untied man kneeled down in front of him and placed each photograph on the floor, where Douglas could stare at them in horror.

In every picture, sharp and clear in black-and-white, was Douglas, but not just Douglas. Every picture, with Douglas, was Martin. Douglas and Martin at the cafe in Bogota they went to the night they flew in. Douglas with his arm around Martin's lower back. Douglas and Martin as they press their noses together, Martin smiling and holding on to Douglas's shoulders, obviously flying high from a kiss. Douglas with his arm around Martin's shoulders as they walk into the roach-infested hotel that Carolyn had booked for them that flight.

"There are more," the American said, "but I didn't want to embarrass you. A man deserves his privacy." The American's smile turned sinister as the static cleared and sharpened on Martin's shape. "I would like to point out, however, that you are kinkier than I thought. You and your boy. What you did with those handcuffs...not even I could be that creative. And I'm a psychopath." The American turned himself towards the TV screen. "I have to ask: have you ever tried gags? Your boyfriend certainly needed one when we picked him up, but I don't think he was into it."

"What are you going to do to him?" Douglas whispered.

The American's smile grew. "Watch."

Eek! Oh my goodness. *bunk'd*

Oh God. Oh god god god.
There are no letters for the noises I just made. Sounded like qrzrrrrcchhhhtttrrtttrrqurrchch.

Am torn between dread and MASSIVE WANT for the next part! Poor Douglas, poor Martin! Thanks for taking up :D

Okay, so this is one of the prompts that don't leave my mind alone (like quite a few do) and I've tried to write something fitting too. But unfortunately I also noticed once more I'm really really not a writer, especially not in English.

How do you writers just do it? It's impossible.

I've got the story line and in my head it works perfectly fine, I even wrote like three scenes already but I can't go on and what I wrote lacks...everything I guess.

Yet it could be so good.

So...if there's any writer out there who wanted to fill this prompt too and again and needs a base - I'd be so happy to share! I wish I could just hire one of your talented authors :)

I'm apologizing for having asked this in case I was just too bold!

I'm quite interested in this, as I'm often short on structure ideas. Of course, I'm eagerly awaiting the second part of the above fill, but if OP doesn't mind two fills, I would be keen to write up your story idea. How can we go about this? Posting the bullet points might be a spoiler and I'd rather stay anon here, so let's figure out a way to send me your ideas.
