Prompt: Not sure if this has been prompted before, sorry if so:

Douglas and Carolyn had a fling years and years ago when she was still married to Gordon, and nine months later Arthur was born. But it was only a one-time thing, and he never even suspected that Arthur was his son. Carolyn knows, of course, but didn't get in touch with Douglas for fear that Gordon would find out.

Fast-forward nearly 30 years... How does the secret get out? Does Carolyn let it slip during a row with Gordon? Does she tell Douglas after hearing him call Arthur "clot" once too often? And how does everyone react? Is Douglas pleased, or upset that Carolyn kept it secret this long? Does Arthur think Douglas is a brilliant father? Does Martin realise this explains all the tiny similarities between them?

Martin suffers from OCD which he usually has under control.
He's keeping it quiet because he's heard too often that it's not really a proper illness, he's just being fussy.
Then something bad happens to him (St. Petersburg, family news, anything) and he has a relapse. He tries to keep it quiet, especially from Douglas because he fears that he will just mock him even more from now on, but you can't keep many things from Douglas, and anyway it's hard not to notice that Martin is now double-checking his triple-checks.

Arthur falls for a girl who's being abused by her boyfriend. He can't understand why she can't see that she's brilliant and deserves better.

Could it have a happy ending please? Where Arthur convinces her to leave him?

Bonus points if Arthur doesn't have a angsty backstory about being abused by his dad. Not a dealbreaker, it's just not my headcannon.

Fill for this prompt:

So Martin's father wanted him to become an electrician. And maybe that's because out of all of his kids Martin was really handy. Like if there was a leaky faucet, or a faulty light that had it's lightbulb changed a million times, Martin was the one who knew just what to do to fix it. And Martin's father couldn't understand why Martin wouldn't want to land a job in something he was good at.

So maybe one day the fridge is on the frits or something's wrong with the plumbing and Carolyn doesn't have the money to hire someone to fix it.

So Martin gets to work. (Maybe Carolyn protests at first because Martin is a berk and probably do more harm then good but Martin convinces her to at least let him try)

And when they see Martin again he has his jacket and hat off with the sleeves of his shirt rolled up. His tie is also missing and a few of the top buttons are unbuttoned. And there's just a hint of sweat on Martin's brow and arms and everything about Martin makes quite a sexy picture. And lo and behold! the problem's fixed. Everyone's a little stunned and a little aroused. Cue everyone having dirty fantasies about Handyman!Martin. (and I do mean everyone)

Bonus if Arthur immediately blurts out something stupid like "Wow, Skip. You look... I mean, you're... BRILLIANT!"
