I’ve talked with quite a few men about what they’ve learned from pegging and although it isn’t universal, many of them have said that they have a better understanding how their female partners might need more warm-up before intercourse, or might be in the mood for sex but not penetration, or how much one’s pleasure can be affected by seemingly minor events. Granted, anal penetration is different from vaginal penetration, but my point is simply that a physical experience can be a much more effective teacher than reading a book, just as a picture is worth 1000 words.

On the flip side, when they try pegging, a lot of women discover how much work, responsibility, and (sometimes) power can go along with fucking someone. And that’s without worrying about their cock ejaculating too soon, getting soft at random moments, or being the wrong size (assuming they have choices- there are lots of dildo options out there).

So while I’m not suggesting that it’s a panacea, I do think that trying out sex from the other side can make it easier to understand and have compassion for your partner. That isn’t limited to m/f couples or, for that matter, pegging. But given how many heterosexual folks have never tried strap-on play, it does seem like there’s an unmet need there. It won’t make communication miraculously easy and it won’t fix everything about sexism or gender-based inequities. What it can do (besides being lots of fun) is help people develop empathy, compassion, and understanding for their partners. And the more of that we have in the world, the better.

I'm watching Supernatural so this is sort of a crossover, but doesn't have to be. It's a show about two guys who hunt supernatural evil things. They call themselves hunters.

MJN encounters a big bad scary thing and Martin knows what to do to kill it. His grandfather or father was a hunter (or whatever) and taught him everything he knew.

While this is not in any way inspired by my RL *cough* and I am in no way bitter about anything that's happened, I can't help but feel it might bear a little resemblance to Arthur's relationship with his dad.

Maybe Arthur, for whatever reason, sees Gordon again. And he catches Gordon saying to someone else just what he thinks of Arthur- he's stupid and useless. Arthur is, although not surprised, hurt by this and is caught in tears by Douglas and Martin and possibly Herc.

I'd just like them telling him how Gordon is a colossal arse and that they love Arthur to bits, and going all BAMF for him again. I need a bit of fluff in my life.

Arthur: I don't know, Douglas, there was that time in Trinidad when someone slipped you a funny drink and you got all grabby, and you spent the night wrestling with Skip in his hotel room. There was an awful lot of thumping. You were really shouty too, things like... what was it? "I'll get you"? No, it was, "I will have you." Yeah. "I will have you."

Douglas: ...What?

A: Though looking back on it, Skip said we shouldn't tell you because you might feel bad if you knew and it wasn't your fault anyway.

D: ... oh god.

TL:DR - Douglas got roofied (or similarly dosed with a spiked drink) months or years ago but remembers nothing and was never told what happened. During that night he may or may not have forced himself on Martin, who has never said a word about it.

NO established D/M of any sort at the start, happy ending preferred after a lot of angst on all sides.

Well, this is a bit detailed, but feel free to change what you like if you'd prefer. As long as the general gist of the prompt happens! :)

Martin, for whatever reason, cannot afford to pay the rent for his room. As this isn't the first time, he's told that he needs to leave. Martin, of course, is terrified.

Later that day, he's with the other members of MJN. Feeling desperate, our Captain starts to pull himself together in order to ask Douglas and/or Carolyn whether he could borrow their sofa for a while, but just before he can they cut him down horribly over something. Maybe he's clumsy and they mention how 'useless' he is, maybe they say they're glad they only need to see him at work. Either way, Martin is hurt/ashamed and so doesn't bother asking.

The next bit is up to the filler. Perhaps one of them finds him sleeping in his van that night/a few nights in? Maybe they bump into him at a pub, drowning his sorrows? Possibly he doesn't turn up for a flight, and so they try to find him - being told by the students that he was kicked out?

All I know is that I want whoever is involved to feel horrendously guilty for what they said, and lots of comfort offered to make it a happy ending. Gen is fine, but I'd be happiest if it was a Martin/Douglas fic.

SO:
Martin is kicked out of his place, tries to ask Carolyn and/or Douglas if he can stay with them but they put him down/hurt his feelings first. Cue scenario in which they find out what's happened, and lots of guilt and comfort!

Somehow Martin get himself dosed with some kind of aphrodisiac, maybe he get's drugged or tries it on his own to see if it really works. Make something up!

I'd prefer established relationship between him and Douglas, but with Martin usually being his nervous self, so Douglas is a bit surprised (and thrilled?) when his captain suddenly pounces him at the door and starts ripping the clothes of his first officer.
