I really wish the scene explaining that bit hadn't been cut for time. In the original recording I believe, Carolyn gave Martin a choice. He could either have the "Martin", "Douglas" or "Arthur" pay-package. The Martin was that she paid him an hourly rate, the Douglas was giving him half of Douglas's salary, and the Arthur was her paying for his food and rent. It got cut for time though I believe Mr F said he might address it again differently in the future.
