There seems to be a bit of a run on Douglas angst prompts at the moment which is nice to see so here's another to add to the collection.
Douglas is asked to fly a small plane to somewhere remote (he's being paid a lot of money / he owes someone a favour / he lost a bet, whatever) and the plane crashes.
A search party is launched but since nothing can be found other than a few scattered remains, everyone presumes that Douglas is dead MJN mourn him because it turns out they're far fonder of him than they would have admitted in his lifetime.
Meanwhile, it turns out Douglas 'did something brilliant' but all the same things are very far from alright. He's stranded, badly injured and has no idea how he's going to get himself out of this one.
