After falling in someone's pond while moving garden furniture for them, Martin gets home to discover that through either technical fault or student-misadventure reasons he can't take a shower at home.

So he goes to ask if he can dirty up Douglas's shower instead.

Much as Douglas is loathe to fill his bathroom with sludgy, rotting pond-weed, he can't quite resist his shivering, soaked and slightly pathetic looking captain.
