Something very bad happens for Douglas. There's nothing he can do about it, he's not telling anyone what happened, just carrying on as usual, but he's really in deep emotional distress and he's struggling very hard not to start drinking again.

Arthur finds out by accident and distracts Douglas with cuddles.
