Welcome everybody. How you got here I have no idea but thank you for coming and welcome again, nonetheless . As you may have gathered this is a Fic Prompting Meme dedicated solely to the hilarious and oh-so-addictive BBC Radio 4 sitcom - Cabin Pressure. I'm aiming for this to be pretty anything goes - but in order for everything to run smoothly, there are a few guidelines. Don't worry - they're not too restrictive.


FILLING GUIDELINES



As you probably all know - our meme now has it's very own database created and maintained by the great Enigel. It both catalogues each and every prompt that we post and provides links to fills. You can find it here: Google Spreadsheet

We also have a Pinboard archive which has been put in place by the lovely [personal profile] oxfordtweed in the place of our late Delicious Archive. This Archive contains a list of all the prompts this meme has to offer - you can find it here: Pinboard Archive

This is a great step forward in making our meme just a little more organised (but not too organised of course. This is Cabin Pressure) which is always a good thing.

So in order to make things easier to archive - Please nest your fills.

This can be done by either posting each part as a reply to that part's immediate predecessor, OR by replying each time to Part I OR - well you get the idea :D

It makes it simpler for Enigel and myself to link fills in a clean and clear manner. Following these guildelines will be very much appreciated guys :D

REPROMPTING



Reprompting is allowed but please include the URL of the original prompt when you do so. It will make it infinitely more easy to Archive which would make both Enigel and I very happy :)

As for everything else



  1. Be respectful to one another. Disagreements are fine, but not everything disagreeable is trolling. If you suspect someone of trolling, just ignore it. If you cannot respond to a comment without attacking or trolling someone else, keep it to yourself.

  2. No bashing prompts. It might not be your cup of tea - but obviously someone wants it enough to go to the effort of requesting it. So just scroll past it.

  3. Prompt away as much as you like guys - seriously, go wild - but please try to fill as well.

    4. NEW - If your fill includes a major element that veers from the original prompt (crossovers, established universes, kinks, et cetera), please take a few moments to check with the OP that such additions are welcome. This has caused problems in the past and it only takes a few moments of your time.
  4. Please no RPF. I'm not trying to oppress you RPF writers and enthusiasts, I would just really like to avoid any legal problems.

  5. When you post a fill (or post a new part of a WIP) please go over to the Filled Prompts Post (if it is complete) or the WIP Post (if there are still more parts to come) and, following each post's guideline's, post a link to this fill or new part.


REALLY IMPORTANT ADDENDUM



According to numerous Child Safety laws it is illegal to provide pornographic material to minors. Seeing that the majority of the stuff we have here is rather adult in nature, this Meme is consequently an 18+ zone. Failing to comply to this rule could result in the Meme getting shut down. + Please do not post anything regarding minors in a sexual situation. It really doesn't matter how tasteful or crass it is, there are laws that classify that sort of thing as child pornography and as such, I'm afraid we're going to have to go with the attitude that safe is better than sorry.

It really is VERY important that these rules are upheld as the consequences are severe.

You know when you just look at someone, like one of your friends or family, and you just want to hug them? A proper tight hug just to show them how much they mean to you?
I'd just love to see one of the cabin crew (or every one of them) do this to someone (can be more than one, though).
Because I've really had a tough couple of weeks of exams and in need of cuddles.

Sort of, almost, a little bit inspired by another prompt I've seen floating around the meme and all that dragon/hobbit porn on the Sherlock meme.

Martin stumbles upon the lair of Douglas the dragon. Who takes a shinning to the poor man and keeps him as a servant.

Overtime, they fall in love. What with clumsy Martin lighting up the bitter old dragon's life.

Then they have sex. *cough* Thank god for anon.

Have we had Arthur/Diego yet? I don't think we have, so that's what I'm prompting. Diego very much appreciates how carefree and fun Arthur is. Arthur really likes Diego, and only partially because of how brilliantly he can imitate Spanish animals.

Anything is fine, from something platonic to something more...adult. Either way. Whatever. Just thought it was time to see these two together.

she comes visiting to see Martin. So he takes her on a moving job and to the air field to meet MJN.

She the proceeds to give Martin five thousand pods because os father was stupid and shouldn't play favorites.

Up to filler about Martin's Mum. I'd like her to be bit nice to everyone. And if she asks after Douglas as Martin's boyfriend, that'd be awesome.

Inspired by a Sherlock fic rec I just saw on tumblr. I haven't seen Sherlock so I didn't read that fic, but the summary gave me ideas :)

Martin and Douglas married when Martin was very young - he was, in fact, the first 'Mrs' Richardson. The relationship ended badly, and each of them, separately, decided to wipe his memories of the failed marriage.

Years later, they meet again when Martin gets a job at MJN Air. They have no idea who the other is, but they feel oddly connected and slowly fall in love again. But then, the memories start to resurface, or they find the records of the procedure each underwent...

it is Martin's last day at the attic. He's moving out of the students' house and is going to live with -insert character of your choice here-.

He's the epitome of happiness as he says good-bye to his flatmates. I just want everyone hug him, shake his hand and be happy for him and wishing him well (some of the students giving the 'treat him well or I'll kill you' speech to the fiancè would be awesome).

I want some happy!Martin fic. Any pairing would do (I prefer slash, but I'm really not picky)

Before his marriages, Douglas innate sky godhood meant he never had any problems finding sexual partners. But since his latest divorce things have been a little thin on the ground and he might actually have to put some effort into it, but he knows he can make the mature, avuncular sky god thing work for him.

Then he realises he is working with two handsome young men with father issues.

Douglas turns his mind to how to get maximum sexual benefit with the minimum effort on his part, his ultimate goal is to get both of them naked in his bed and calling him 'Daddy'.

If Douglas plans to seduce them separately or together or even if its just a hot idle fantasy is up to the filler, but a massive Daddy kink seems to have turned up at my door and I don't know what to do with it.

After Helena leaves, Douglas goes back on the pull, bringing women back to the hotel room, even if he's sharing with Martin.

At first Martin hides in the lobby when this happens, then is too tired and just ignores the activities in the room, until it gets too difficult to ignore. Maybe he looks over and finds Douglas or Douglas's conquest contemplatively watching him instead of each other.

It progresses. Martin watches, then after a while, Martin wanks. After that, is invited to participate, after that finds he and Douglas spend more attention on each other than the women, who don't seem to mind at all.

After that, Douglas stops inviting women back to the hotel.

(Note: OP would prefer the women to be confident, enthusiastic, and fully pleased by the activities between Douglas and Martin. No jealousy or hate, please.)


TLDR: Douglas's random Het encounters lead to threesomes with Martin and OFC's, which lead to eventual D/M.

Take a song, preferably one of those overplayed top 40 love songs, and using the plot it gives you, write that scenario into the characters' lives.

For example, perhaps Douglas has a Someone Like You (Adele), or Martin has a One That Got Away (Katy Perry), or Carolyn has a Back To December (Taylor Swift).

Bonus points if its unexpected (i.e. Martin and David Cook's Come Back To Me)

Can go either happy or sad. Multiple fills, maybe, please?

Martin discovers his Sherlock voice (for those who haven't seen Sherlock - it's much deeper and sexier than the voice Benedict uses for Martin) during his first night with Douglas. Douglas likes it a lot and does his best to make Martin more vocal in bed. They're both very happy with the results.

Bonus points if Martin catches on and uses the voice in totally innocent situations to manipulate Douglas C:

Douglas and Martin have a fairly good working relationship in the flight deck, but they complement each other perfectly when they kill people together, using MJN's random and unpredictable destinations to minimize the chances of their murders being linked to each other. They didn't start out as a team, but it didn't take them long to instinctively know the other man is just as screwed up.

M/D or gen with incredibly close friendship (because I assume you have to be really close to someone if you want to kill people together), I have no preference as long as there are murders and they commit them together.

So, I was listening to Cremona, and I find it hilarious every time when Arthur just pops out sort of out of nowhere when Carolyn mentions Hester Macaulay. Well, it got me to thinking:

He must have surprised people quite a few times just by sort of popping out of nowhere, as, well, he's Arthur. I bet he just kinda pops up all the time out of the blue. ;D

So, could we have a 5+1 fic of where Arthur surprises someone/some people five times plus one where they surprise him? As I think it'd be a rather adorable fic. :D ❤❤❤
